About Courtney
Courtney has been recognized throughout the Northeast for her theatrical talent and vocal abilities. She holds awards from both Schenectady Light Opera Company and TANYS (Theater Association of New York State). She was also nominated for a 2022 Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Award for her performances as Patsy Cline.
After graduating from Penn State University, Courtney took on yet another role - bringing Patsy Cline's story and songs back to life. A lifelong affinity for Patsy Cline's music along with a nudge from her grandfather has helped transform Courtney Shayne into one of the finest impersonators performing today. She has been recognized nationally for her appearances and now tours throughout the United States bringing to life the iconic music of Patsy Cline in an unforgettable performance. Courtney's newest show, featuring the nostalgic music of The Carpenters, will transport fans back in time - it's a show not to be missed.
Courtney Shayne Karl has been performing for audiences for nearly 20 years. A native to the Capital Region of New York, she has been seen in several local community theater productions, including those of Park Playhouse Inc., Capital Repertory Theatre, The Schenectady Light Opera Company and Albany Civic Theater. She has also performed with The Little Theater of Fall River in Massachusetts as well as with the Theater Harrisburg Company and Hershey Playhouse in Pennsylvania.
